The Yukon is about 207,000 square miles with approximately 60% of it classified as vast wilderness. Currently, only 40,000 people live in this quiet northern region of Canada with majority residing around the capital city of Whitehorse. Our area is over 5,600 square miles centrally located to the west of Kluane country. Exclusive hunting for non-residents. Western border is Alaska while the Eastern border snugs up against the Kluane Game Sanctuary, with most of the area being accessible by horseback, aircraft, or foot only.
Remote panoramic views of the captivating year-round snow-capped St. Elias range in the south while rugged unsettling permafrost creeps through the landscape in between the complex glacial silt river systems complimenting the area. Abundant summer daylight hours shine for long days with little precipitation makes it the perfect asset to experience the finest backcountry the Yukon has to offer.

LODGING and DELIGHTS
A variety of camps are all welcoming and comfortable. Cabins are cozy and equipped with real comforts for a good night’s sleep. The base camp lodges have a separate cookhouse to enjoy backcountry homestyle cuisine which may include fresh fish, wild game, the best Canadian double smoked bacon, fresh local produce and delicious sweet delights to compliment the comforts you crave while enjoying the mountain air.
Enjoy hot functional showers/classic wash stations, instant hot water, large shower stalls, towels, soap and shampoo to rejuvenate you during your trip. Generators for plugging in gadgets are available. Keep in mind we usually only utilize the ‘base camps’ for the beginning and end of your trips. Accommodations vary at our spike camps – stay in a small cabin or set up a wall tent complete with a wood stove to keep you warm and dry.
Our camps are relaxing and enjoyable along with our food offerings – plentiful to compliment your northern experience.
